Miranda Gottlieb, originally from the United States, is based in Beijing and specializes in health policy for Johnson & Johnson’s government affairs and policy team. She volunteers as Mental Health Diplomat at Johnson & Johnson where she helps to de-stigmatize mental healthcare in China. Miranda was recently named China Hands Magazine’s 25 Under 25: Leaders in US-China Relations. A Schwarzman Scholar, Miranda graduated from China’s leading academic institute, Tsinghua University, earning a Master of Global Affairs. Previously, she worked for the State of Florida within the Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health. She holds a B.A. in political science and Hispanic studies from the University of Tennessee. Miranda has previously worked for the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and the Drug Policy Alliance. Touched early in life by the failings of the war on drugs policies, she is deeply committed to mental health and drug policy reform in the U.S. and abroad. Miranda speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
